 Home
care services were developed in response to the needs of the
Eskasoni Community. Our home care program provides nursing
services to Eskasoni residents in their homes. The home care
team consists of three full time RNs and one part time RN.
Home care services
include:
- Cient Assessments
- Referrals to social
services, podiatrists, and other health services
- Post hospital wound
care
- Monitoring of chronic
health problems such as diabetes and high blood pressure
- Terminal care
- Personal
care for elders
- Injections
- Dialysis
care
On average the home care nurses
visit 14 patients each day and the service is provided seven
days per week. |
