The
First Nation community of Eskasoni in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia is
the largest Mi’kmaq Reserve in the world. The community is
engaged in a nationally-recognized model of integrated health planning
and delivery. It is now regarded as one of the most successful and
innovative primary care demonstration projects in the country.
Eskasoni is also a teaching site for the Dalhousie
